Irene at debaser Malmo

So we spent the evening seeing Irene in Malmo. They're all really nice guys and the new material is absolutely superb. We had a wonderful time dancing and drinking expensive raspberry drinks.

Disturbing images

We eventually made our way into a park and did some jumping. It was quite hilarious watching Martin Jumping over a granite ball :) It was still cold and drizzling so it was nice to get into Copenhagen art gallery. The first exhibit we came across really was very disturbing indeed and I'm not sure I'll ever be able to look at a crying masturbating pig the same way ever again. It was nice place to while away the afternoon though.

Cafe culture

The weather wasn't great and we were pretty tired. This is the 2nd cafe we went to but the first we got served at. Notable for beers, tea, coffee, cake and Martin getting into Elite beat agents on my DS. The most amazing moment for me was when the owner asked what we were doing in Copenhagen and for the first time in my life I described myself as a musician. Hillarious but I still can't quite accept that it was true at the time.

Crab face day

The next day morning we awoke feeling very tired. I didn't feel too bad considering the events I still can't remember from the night before, so I made sure everyone was up and showered so Morten could get on with some work. We wandered about Copenhagen a bit, just to see the sights. We were looking for the little mermaid but completely failed to find her.

Euro trip: 13/9/07

The first day of our 10 days in denmark and sweden. We had to get up pretty damn early. We'd had a practice the night before and sorted out our mp3 backing tracks., and I'd been up late sorting out my new np3 player with music for the trip.

Nick drove down from London and turned up late-ish but I suspect he was asleep whilst I was still packing. Around 3 hours of sleep later I was awake and showered. My friend Jon had very generously offered to give us all a lift to the airport. We just about jammed all our equipment and bags into the car (note for the next trip: take fewer instruments and clothes!).

The ryanair check in went really well and everyone seemed very friendly. I slept for most of the flight although the view out of the windows was lovely. We got into Malmo all withdrew some swedish Kroner and caught a bus into Copenhagen. Once there we took out some Danish Kroner and caught a cab to Morten's flat.

The next task was finding some food. We caught the metro train into the town centre and were soon full of pizza. We then wandered around a bit and found our way to Christiana where we sat on the banks of the moat and enjoyed the sunny weather. Nick and I were quite active but Martin and Duncan had a bit of a nap. My friend Emil joined us and we sat around until Morten made his way into the centre., we then decided to find a bar The Bodega was where things become a bit hazy for me, Mikkel and Kaspar joined us and many beers were drunk. The rest exists only as memories in other people's heads and in a few photographs. Did it all really happen? Well who really knows, certainly not I.
